16th Week in Ordinary Time

Readings : Sunday Cycle A, Weekday Cycle 2, Psalter Week 4

Entrance               See, I have God for my help.  The Lord sustains my soul.  I will sacrifice to Antiphon        you with willing heart, and praise your name, O Lord, for it is good.

1st Reading           (Wisdom 12:13, 16-19)  After sin you will grant repentance.

Psalm                    O Lord, you are good and forgiving.

2nd Reading          (Romans 8:26-27)  The Spirit expresses our plea in a way that could never be put into words.

Acclamation        Alleluia, alleluia!  May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ enlighten the eyes of our mind, so that we can see what hope his call holds for us.  Alleluia!

Gospel                   (Matthew 13:24-43)   Let them both grow till the harvest.

Children               Jesus tells stories that help us understand what heaven is like.  He tells stories that people at the time would understand, about sowing wheat and planting mustard seeds and mixing yeast into bread.

Communion        The Lord, the gracious, the merciful, has made a memorial of his wonders; Antiphon        he gives food to those who fear him.

Could those who are last to leave the Parish grounds

in the evening please close the car park gates.
