CROSSING BORDERS
TUESDAY 15TH MAY at 7.30PM in STYE BRAE CENTRE, GILNAHIRK PRESBYTERIAN
This evening is an opportunity to talk about borders, about Brexit, about our own border and the various forms of borders we construct between peoples. We presume that everyone attending will have a wide range of opinions and questions about how our wee part of the world is relating to the rest of this island, to Britain, to Europe and even beyond. There is no plan to come to any consensus nor even provide any answers. The discussion will use the biblical Book of Ruth as a starting point to help us discern how our biblical text can speak into the public square.
The conversation will be led by Glenn Jordan (Theologian and Blogger) and we would encourage you to come along and bring any friend or neighbour who is interested in our place in this world.
