FAITH AND LIFE CONVENTION
Sep 29 @ 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Bishop Treanor invites you to attend our fifth Faith and Life Convention next Saturday 29th September 2018 in Our Lady and St Patrick’s College, Knock, Belfast. Doors open at 8.45am with registration taking place from 9:00am. The Convention begins at 10:00am.
The Faith and Life Convention is a forum for people from across the diocese, and beyond, to gather together and to take part in a range of conversations about the meaning of faith and its relevance to every area of our lives. This year we are delighted to welcome Cardinal Óscar Andrés Rodríguez Maradiaga, S.D.B. as our keynote speaker.
In the afternoon each delegate will have the opportunity to take part in two workshops from a range of twenty seven.

The workshops fill up quickly so it’s best to book now! Perhaps the best part of the day is the pleasure of meeting up with a great crowd of committed people from all over the diocese and beyond.

Online booking is available at: www.faithandlifeconvention.org Cost per delegate £20.00. We look forward to seeing you on 29th September 2018.

COUNT ME IN
A new youth inclusion programme ‘Count Me In’, will begin in St Colmcille’s Hall this Sunday from 4.00pm – 6.00pm over two terms, for 9 – 13 year olds. The young people will have the opportunity to explore their own identity and culture and gain an appreciation of the cultures of other young people in our parish. We hope to reduce the feelings of marginalisation/isolation and enable young people to overcome difficult issues by helping them develop coping strategies and develop tolerance and understanding.

Included in the programme will be a bus tour of Belfast, a visit to Stormont Buildings and a residential at Corrymeela, Ballycastle on the weekend of 30th November/2nd December. Cost for the programme is £10. Application forms in Church porch. Enquiries to Noeleen : 078 7949 8131.
