HABITAT FOR HUMANITY—Cambodia August 2020
As most of you will know, St Colmcille’s has once again teamed up with Gilnahirk Presbyterian Church under the umbrella of Habitat for Humanity. A group of parishioners from both churches will travel to Cambodia this coming August to help in the construction of homes for local people.
Their latest fundraising event will take place in the parish Hall here at St Colmcille’s on:
Saturday 18th January at 8.00pm
promises a fantastic evening of stories, yarns and banter with guest speakers including Mark Simpson (BBC) and Adrian Brown (UTV), Linda Ervine (well known Irish language activist from East Belfast Mission & others
It would be great to see a strong turnout from St Colmcille’s at what should be a very interesting evening for a worthwhile cause. Tickets are priced at £20.00 to include a glass of wine, a light supper, and will be available after
each of the masses this weekend, or by contacting Martin Wolfe (martin.wolfe@barlibrary.com), Maureen Verdon
(079 2962 4395); or John McNulty (079 8065 8974).
I am reliably informed that you can even bring your own bottle!
