PARISH WEBCAM
Parishioners are invited to view parish Masses and other parish services with the help of the parish website: www.st-colmcilles.net where you will find the Webcam. Click on ‘WEBCAM’ and scroll to view. The picture quality has been greatly enhanced recently. The Webcam is normally on 24 hours a day. It should also work on iphones, ipads and Android devices. The sound is normally only on during Mass and other Church services.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
St Colmcilles has a Bereavement Support group to be present for and to listen to anyone suffering bereavement after a death, regardless of how long ago the death occurred. The group is here for all, regardless of culture, faith or no faith and is made up of nine parishioners who have all been trained by NI Hospice professionals; on-going training and guidance will continue with the Hospice team. If you wish to know more about Bereavement Support please telephone us on 074 5698 9458 or complete a Request form and place in the Bereavement Support Box situated at the back of the Church and one of the group will make contact with you. The members of the group are: Regiena Babu, Eileen Brogan, Eithne Daly, Maire Devine, Brenda McMeekin, David McMeekin, Celine Molloy, Joan Rogan, Lucy Traynor.

FIRST FRIDAY – Father Ciaran will attend the sick and housebound in the parish this Tuesday.
SUMMER MASS TIMES – there will be one Mass on a Sunday morning at 11.00am during the months of July and August, starting Sunday 6th July
PARISH BULLETIN – next Sunday will be the last bulletin until Sunday 24th August. There will be a one page information sheet available during July and August.

HALL BOOKINGS – please note Pat will not be available to take Parochial Hall bookings from this Thursday to Monday 1st September.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER TEAM – is a small group who meet on a weekly basis to add their voices to yours, presenting your needs to God. Requests for prayer can be made by completing a Petition Slip and placing it in the Prayer Request Box, both of which can be found in Our Lady’s Prayer Space, or by emailing colmcilleprayer@yahoo.co.uk. All requests are treated with the strictest confidence and you can make your request anonymously if you wish.
CTS BOOKLETS – a new range of resources is on sale in the Church porch. There is also a variety of cards to purchase, to celebrate special occasions. Payment may be placed in any of the money boxes in the walls next to the candelabras.
A SEVEN DAY CANDLE – burns continuously at Our Lady’s Prayer Space in the Sanctuary for the intentions of a sponsor. Candles cost £5 each and this offering should be placed in the box in the wall when you light your candle.
DECEASED – We pray for the repose of the souls of Bridget McGuiggan and Emily Weir, who died recently. We also remember all those whose anniversaries occur at this time of year especially:
Rosina McManus, Gerry Boyle, Brian Anderson,
Tom Fleming, Sean Coyle and Anne J Hughes.

THIS WEEK
ST. JOSEPH’S SCHOOL MASS – for pupils and staff. Our parish school will be celebrated this Wednesday morning at 9.30am in the church. MR RYAN’S RETIREMENT – Mr J Ryan, the principal of St. Joseph’s Primary School, retires at the end of this school year. As part of the school’s celebrations there will be a special assembly this Thursday afternoon at 4.00pm. If any past pupils or past family members wish to attend please feel free to join us in the school assembly hall.
COMING EVENTS
DIOCESAN CONVENTION – “Living the Faith to Make a Difference”, will be held on Saturday 20th September at Our Lady and St Patrick’s College, Knock. There are twelve workshops to choose from. Places are limited and the closing date for applications is this Friday. Forms are available at the back of the Church.
OTHER NOTICES
SCHOLA CANTORUM BOYS CHOIR – from St Peter’s Cathedral will be singing at 6.OOpm mass in St Bernadette’s Parish next Saturday. This is a great opportunity to hear the choir (and to experience their enhancement of the liturgy) just before they travel to represent the diocese in Paris in July. There will also be an opportunity to meet with the boys in the parish centre after mass, at which tea and coffee will be served. We would very much welcome your support.
MICHAELA FOUNDATION – Girls Summer Camp at St. Mary’s College, Belfast, from Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July. The Summer Camp offers 11 to 13 year-old girls the opportunity to experience a range of inspiring and entertaining activities including fashion, Irish and well-being, all taught by highly-experienced and trained experts in a fun and supportive environment, whilst growing in faith.
