THE SERVICE OF LOVE

Love and service is the ‘Golden Rule’ and ‘Royal Road’ of the gospel.

The way of the spirit is the way of humble service. This is Jesus’ invitation to all: ‘The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted’ (Matthew 23:11)

We do not serve or love by our own strength but through God’s grace.

‘If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ our Lord’ (Peter 4:11)

Lord, may my thoughts be full of faith, my words echo your widom, and my life be filled with service.

This programme will resume on Wednesday 11th January, 7.30pm – 9.00pm and is repeated on Friday 13th February, 10.00am – 11.30am.

The Bible is at the heart of our faith and our relationship with God.  It is a place where our heavenly Father meets us and speaks to us with love.  Millions have found it to be a rich source of wisdom, encouragement, instruction and solace.

This programme is presented by Jeff Cavins on DVD.  His dynamic teaching in conjunction with thought provoking discussion questions, will open the door to you, to a new found understanding of God’s word.

Dates for your diary:
